The eyes of common perception do not see far. Too often we make the most important decisions based only on superficial information.

-  Butlerian Jihad, Brian Herbert &  Kevin J. Anderson, 2003

America, historically speaking, is on a downward slope as far as civilizations go and while this outlook might be conceivable by the general public usually through the parochial lens of some established religion or mystic faith, I can see only one real reason for its inevitability: Too many are defiantly ignorant, desperately holding onto outmoded traditions with a feral aggression which will ultimately do everyone in.

...understand, that such a statement is not an impulsive verbal reaction to the transitory hardships of this current economic depression; but rather, it is the careful analysis of the myriad nuances of politics, economics, history, culture, and much much more. I am not an authority on either of these subjects, nor is it required! I do however possess an insatiable desire to understand the disparate parts that constitute society as a whole and therefore am an avid reader, fearlessly exposing myself to varying points of view, and conversing with all kinds of people trying thusly to comprehend a little more of this mystery everyday.  Recognizing that no one man is an island,  this site was designed  with a little bit of something for everyone, even though its target audience is blacks living in America. The age of those visiting here with us is negligible for all are imminently necessary, especially our young ones. Their understanding of the various topics set upon by this website is crucial if blacks ever sincerely hope to climb out of the bottom of society's well into the full participation of a future with meaning and purpose, lest we remain  the footstool for slightly more organized ethnic minorities who publicly tout the harmonious virtues of a multiracial society while doing everything in their collective power to push blacks into oblivion - as was the case for blacks in Latin America who today are, for all intents and purposes, non-existent.

Don't believe me, just look around! In every location where you find blacks working among other groups, we get the shit-hours for less pay...they get ninety-five percent of the managerial positions: Walmart, Target, McDonalds, Wendy's, Comcast, and all other major chains. For every five hundred black athletes that enjoy the media spotlight, five hundred thousand blacks lose their homes, graduate with less-than-reasonable job-prospects regardless of their academic prowess, and are casually tracked into prisons by the various private entities seeking to build those mega-security complexes.

I knew a guy who use to say: People usually kick you before they kiss you (like Judas). Considering how the powerful banking and corporate interest both funded McCain & Obama during their presidential bid for the White house back in 2008, I am left wondering if the election of Barak Obama was the sweetest kiss of all;  this Obama, who was a little known candidate from Detroit is going from dark-horse to Trojan horse the more I compare those nifty speeches of his with what he actually does. For those of you who remain tractable in your unshakable faith in the two-party system (Democrat-Republican) or what I like to call the two-headed dragon, this website will prove to be far less than savory for your soft palette unless... you take a step outside your comfort zone and start asking the tough questions all around starting with your so-called-friends; from your  religious institutions; from your benevolent teachers; and even from your kind and caring parents.         _____________________________________________________________

Fear, Inaction, & What is to be done

Most civilization(s) are based on cowardice. It's so easy to civilize by teaching cowardice. You water down the standards which would lead to bravery. You restrain the will. You regulate the appetites. You fence in the Horizons. You make a law for every movement. You deny the existence of chaos. You teach even the children to breath slowly. You tame.

- Frank Herbert, God Emperor of Dune 1981

When one speaks of resolutions to the perennial problems that typically besiege blacks in America  indeed all around the globe, one is usually confronted with an incredible amount of doubt by blacks  themselves! When someone like me enumerates the painful consequences of inaction or of  the disjointed and incessant efforts of the black community,  blacks of every political & cultural persuasion voice all kinds of reasons why cohesion among our kind is not possible. Hence, it is my humble observation that blacks as an ethnic group presently display a severe lack of aptitude and understanding for strategic deception. When one talks of resolving the differences Too many of us cannot recognize the innumerable lies in the media, in our federal or state governments, and most importantly, in our own local communities, schools, and churches. Utterly confounded or purposely oblivious, we meander through this American experience blithely unaware of the sure catastrophe that awaits us when this economy finally breaks; it’s as if we’re in a daze. Nevertheless, we remain defiantly on the side of the status quo even as it pointedly acts against our collective interest. I am not  surprised, we don't actually cultivate leaders for this sort of thing anymore chiefly because we've been brought to heel by much of the establishment. In the sixties and seventies when the last of the black panther radicals along with other left-leaning organizations, and even a few of the more progressive elements on the conservative side were finally put down by insidious COINTELPRO operatives, the task of edifying & mobilizing the various black communities was left largely in the exploitative hands of local churches some of which, had actually participated in helping to destabilize  these black power movements in return for the inheritance of their massive following. Bereft of meaningful leadership, disaffected by what they perceived as ‘hopeless circumstances’, and thoroughly demoralized, they made their way somberly back into the pews without any other recourse,  save, to wait anxiously for the day some great savior would come down from the heavens and deliver them from their miserable lot; our people have been there ever since. In this present age, some of our own preachers would meanly tell us in a polite voice of course, to reverently accept our low status in life - seeing as how we are supposedly the accursed brood of Ham. I do not accept this!  Personally, to remain silent in the face of such blasphemy after having become aware of the truth is to be complicit. I wonder if it is fear or absolute stupidity that has tamed so many you. Do you sincerely believe that we blacks are genetically inferior or condemned by the gods for what and who we are?
