Still, blacks come by their color consciousness honestly. The income gap between light-skinned blacks and dark-skinned blacks is the same as the income gap between whites and blacks; more light-skinned blacks hold white-collar, professional jobs than darker-skinned ones. Pre-movement, black organizations played a role, using the "paper bag test" or combing applicants' hair to screen out the Negroid. In 2001 a black ad agency hired to launch a campaign for a black college was found to have rej...

Dawah is a trip! He may very well be a radical, but I can assure you this: His kind is in far greater need today than most of the self-centered black bourgeoisie. Anyway here he is...

This sistah is by far among the most attractive I've seen. I of course, have a strong predilection for dark-skinned women. However, this is unfortunate for me though because the darker they are...the lighter they seem to prefer their men. Anyway, enough about me!

I have a special appreciation for those of us that have decidedly forged ahead with dogged determination in learning other languages, especially ones commonly perceived as being too difficult. The undertaking of a foreign tongue cultivates the mind, character, and sometimes even the soul. It enables you to begin to value and understand to a certain degree other cultures, affording you greater insight, respect, and admiration.

There are so many people who are not aware of how they have been indoctrinated since childhood to believe that everything white is better than who they were born to be...black. I can recall so easily of how my own mother unwittingly pushed the implicit agenda of self-hate by pinching my nose all the time to make it smaller and applying topical solutions to lighten my dark skin, which never submitted...Thankfully!

She is a great example of someone who is fully aware of the many inequalities of the world but remains balanced. She doesn't allow one or a few bad dating experiences (if she's had any bad ones of course) to derail her or mortally corrupt her perception of black people. So, I've decided to include her occasional video blogs Dear Life: Living in Japan here. It's encouraging to see sistahs trying to admonish others in the hopes that they might become more enlightened and thus navigate through s...
