Malcolm X starts out with getting us to put aside petty religious differences and focus on perhaps more immediate & pressing concerns like community reorganization to promote more of a black nationalistic framework upon which to build.  He also expounds on becoming politically mature, which is absolutely essential if we are to break out of this ping-pong state between the two parties who only end up taking us for granted anyway.
