I am always fascinated by the resilience of my African people, whatever their country of origin. Nigeria however, holds a special place in my heart - it being my father's native land. Beset by the natural birthing pains of any burgeoning nation, Nigeria would likewise have to forge it's own destiny out of rock and steel. Though, with the discovery of petroleum in the Biafran regions came the subtle goading by Western agents upon the unsuspecting inhabitants to seek the formation of their very...
I've always stressed the extreme importance for blacks to perceive themselves both here in the States and abroad as being worthy of investment. This particular show is very informative as it weighs the very biased perception of Africa threw Western Media i.e. Western Propaganda with steadily emergent African awareness. Of course, only alternative media sources like presstv.ir offer a more even-handed outlook on Africa and other such places. Preview the two following clips and judge for yo...

The eyes of common perception do not see far. Too often we make
the most important decisions based only on superficial information. -
Brian Herbert & Kevin Anderson, The Butlerian Jihad 2002
Centuries have past and the lies told to us about how we are condemned as black savages who should learn to love and serve their white overseers as if serving Christ Jesus himself continue unabated! Except now, the people in priestly robes standing before us spouting this nonsense @the pulpit aren't ju...

Pan-Africanism is grounded in the belief that Africa is one; the artificial borders being the result of the Berlin conference, where European powers carved up the continent and divided the spoils among themselves. Pan-Africanism is grounded in the belief that all African peoples, wherever we may be, are one, and as Dr. Nkrumah says,"belong to the African nation"; our dispersal was the result of European imperialism and racism. Pan-Africanism is grounded in socialism which has its roots in com...

One of Nigeria's premiere actressesOmoni Oboli (On the left in Pink) was offered a lead role in some big budget Hollywood film about Africa in which she was to receive half a million US$ dollars, but then rejected it because of nudity. Apparently some things just aren't for sale...like Dignity! Not to mention, having the image of an entire country riding on your shoulders was also a pretty significant component weighing in on the matter - to be sure. She's done us proud.

There are many anecdotes in the black communities around the world that prove quite clearly our collective disdain for the continent of Africa. This is largely the case because we have been so thoroughly conditioned to believe that white is preferable to black. It's easier for "the powers that be" to maintain the status quo of white power and influence in the American hierarchy of class and race by getting everyone else to hate and denigrate their own hereditary ethnic characteristics. Theref...
I got teary-eyed and was also boiling with anger listening to this report. I personally do not condemn the Somalians for having taken matters into their own hands. Maybe that doesn't sound Christian, but it can't be any worse than what these other so called "Christian" nations have done and in fact, are continuing to do. I mean, where else can the Somalians make an appeal if The United Nations turns a blind eye to these atrocities? Why is all the Media slanted in telling only one side? This ...

As you listen to a series of three clips regarding; Italy,France, & Germany on alink below, you'll gain a better sense of just how privileged we are in America. Truly, the opportunity for blacks here is clearly a singular event and must be vigorously exploited that we might help our brothers and sisters far and wide in a Pan-Africanist ideological approach.

When I first saw this film two years ago I was so deeply moved. It gives me great pride to learn of such noble representatives and keepers of African lore like Dr. John Henrik Clarke. His criticisms are incisive and unbiased, for the most part anyway. In the film however, Dr. Clarke mentions that his left-leaning contemporaries had made no serious study of blacks in the Diaspora. Fortunately, since his time so much more scholarly analysis has been brought to bear on the subject and with it, a...
