The typical Latino - black or white - here in the United States will more than likely say that racism is not a major factor back home in their patria natal; that for the most part, they have achieved relative peace and harmony. And they are correct for the most part, BUT ONLY BECAUSE THEY DON'T ALLOW FOR SUCH A TOPIC TO EVER SURFACE. And much to the chagrin of their black populations, who've been heavily oppressed over the generations, they have all but capitulated.

I can certainly assure you my brothers, that the situation is MUCH WORSE in Latin America for blacks! The pride and voice of the black Latino for the most part has been beaten down so brutally...that they dare not utter a contravening view point a pleno día including here in the United States...as strange as it is. Here they've accepted their submissive roles. Even back home, a varied few of them will dare to venture forward and offer some nugget of truth about their collective plight.

This clip also proves just how white Latinos are unapologetically united in their rapacious disposition toward them. In the video, the whites spitefully preclude what little fortune happens to fall in this guy's lap even though the law is on his side. Other white Latinos, like the sociologist in the clip are @best nonchalant  in confessing just how the system of racism does indeed operate but show no sign of outrage or remorse. Even if they do not agree with it, their silence enables for all this to happen making them by their actions or inactions rather, COMPLICIT.

Incidentally, the pudgy sociologist too quickly forgets about the topic of racism and gleefully delights in the hapless trivialities of being considered a blonde  though she is not.

In America, white Latinos will say to us privately that they do not agree with this status quo of racism against very black or dark-skinned people (like myself). Some will even start preaching to us about these injustices.  But their reticence to lift even a single finger in protest to their own people who are 'white' like them is all too apparent.  Some of these guys even presume to be "Christians", yet defiantly choose ignore the Word of God. ¡COBARDES! ¡Que falta de agallas! If only the black Latinos here would but speak! Alas, they are too busy trying to prove that they are nothing like us American/Haitian blacks...Oh! and looking for non-black spouses. I almost pity them. If they don't change and become more visible & vocal (and not as stoolies for the whites), then theirs could be a much worse fate.
