There aren't many people for whom I am easily compelled to extol...maybe to an almost shameless degree of childlike gleefulness. I've never met him, and yet I feel like I know him so well through his work. His greatest legacy, The Dune Chronicles, will doubtless be read by generations to come. I think the most notable quality of his comprehensive work is his easy explanation of the intricacies and interrelatedness of all the major industries/factions of life and the politics behind which they...

Naysayers will always try to dissuade you from tempting fate, but you must not be daunted by conventional thinking or the unknown. You must push forward to the infinite possibilities of living as a truly United Society?
Imagine a world where the greed of those @the top no longer dictate and exploit those at the bottom. It is possible.

This sistah is by far among the most attractive I've seen. I of course, have a strong predilection for dark-skinned women. However, this is unfortunate for me though because the darker they are...the lighter they seem to prefer their men. Anyway, enough about me!
I'm really digging this message. I think other sistahs should be inspired by it.

I have a special appreciation for those of us that have decidedly forged ahead with dogged determination in learning other languages, especially ones commonly perceived as being too difficult. The undertaking of a foreign tongue cultivates the mind, character, and sometimes even the soul. It enables you to begin to value and understand to a certain degree other cultures, affording you greater insight, respect, and admiration.
This video is encouraging and proves that We (people of the Afric...

Many black people will swear that they love their black skin and their black people. Yet they treat other blacks especially of low "status" with contempt and curse out each other @the slightest provocation - truly the mark of a slave race. They laugh off the racists jokes from white employees though, which do indeed hurt. Why not embrace your people. Learn to love them. Help correct their mistakes with patience and understanding since you're so enlightened. Learn to love them in spite of thei...

So don't follow others who've apparently lost their way. You instead, place yourself @the vanguard. Get in shape, eat better if you need to! Improvement is always good, but don't go gettin' implants, nose jobs, and skin lighteners. By the way, this song is called Zandisile by Simphiwe Dana (S. African Jazz)

One of Nigeria's premiere actressesOmoni Oboli (On the left in Pink) was offered a lead role in some big budget Hollywood film about Africa in which she was to receive half a million US$ dollars, but then rejected it because of nudity. Apparently some things just aren't for sale...like Dignity! Not to mention, having the image of an entire country riding on your shoulders was also a pretty significant component weighing in on the matter - to be sure. She's done us proud.

She is a great example of someone who is fully aware of the many inequalities of the world but remains balanced. She doesn't allow one or a few bad dating experiences (if she's had any bad ones of course) to derail her or mortally corrupt her perception of black people. So, I've decided to include her occasional video blogs Dear Life: Living in Japan here. It's encouraging to see sistahs trying to admonish others in the hopes that they might become more enlightened and thus navigate through s...

Greetings,
I've had to re-examine the aims and objectives of this website. I felt myself going off on tangents so I've actually decided to erase some of the posted entries and will probably reconsider some of the stuff I have in the Archives. This is still a work in progress. I am principally suppose to be writing and posting videos that exclusively (or close to anyway) inspire, explain, awaken, and or shock into positive action the black teeming masses.

My adolescent sister has such a strong affinity for all things Asian. So, it was only a matter of time before the rest of the family also began sharing in her curiosity and fascination with the Orient. Incidentally, I love this song. I think this video has a fairly simple message: we need to show people we care, sometimes even in unconventional ways. So without further ado...(from my sister Jess:)
