She is a great example of someone who is fully aware of the many inequalities of the world but remains balanced. She doesn't allow one or a few bad dating experiences (if she's had any bad ones of course) to derail her or mortally corrupt her perception of black people. So, I've decided to include her occasional video blogs Dear Life: Living in Japan here. It's encouraging to see sistahs trying to admonish others in the hopes that they might become more enlightened and thus navigate through society as a beacon of hope instead of a black hole of infectious self-hate.
